Well as usual I've been very slack in updating recently. I have loads of new poems and prose to add which I will get round to eventually. Currently in the middle of my final exams for second year of uni, I feel so old knowing that (all being well) I'll be graduating this time next year. A lot has changed and looking back I feel I've matured a lot as a person and a writer.

Somehow I managed to get through my Nanna's first year anniversary with less tears than I expected but I may have come to accept her death. I can now smile when I think of her which I think she will be happy about. My Nanna never could put up with my angst, lol.

I lost my dog a couple of weeks ago on 4th May 2009. She was 17/18 year old Jack Russell cross Lancashire Terrier. I was unbelievably devestated and I've written a lot on the subject since writing is my preferred method of grief. I may post a couple but lately all my writings are about death so I might try to be a little brighter. However in the absence of love grief is my one great inspiration and I have found many songs with hauntingly beautiful lyrics to encourage me to write similarly.

On the plus side summer begins soon and, while work is a must if I intend to feed myself next year, I look forward to little more freedom and fun than last year. I've already started living off smoothies which is the sign summer is on the way. Not looking forward to the mass spring clean I'll need to do before I move out of my student house though, going to be a weeks work I reckon.

Also been playing many pranks on unsuspecting housemates recently which is always fun. Too many been going on to list but they do lighten the move. I should really return my housemates iPod though; before he buys a new one, lol.
